In order to stay in the type of health that is needed for a long and fruitful life we have to not only understand what is out there in the world that can harm us but how to get rid of what ails us once we are affected by it. One of the most enjoyable things on earth is sex, which is why it is no mystery that many of the illnesses on earth are sexual related and spread via sexual intercourse. One of the major culprits out there is Chlamydia trachomatis. Since it is a large and highly complex topic we will start off with the basics and them progress to the more in depth discussion of just what chlamidia is. We will touch on how clamidia is transmitted and also ho to get rid of Chlamydia once you are diagnosed with it.

Let us begin with a statement that usually puts many at ease and that is that chlamdia is very common amongst men and women. Even though it is common you should not take this lightly if you get it. clamidea can cause many problems with your body and some of them are irreversible and serious such as infertility. At last check there were over two million persons infected with Chlamydia in the Untied States alone. The scary thing is that not all of that number has sought out treatment. The major problems with this are that they will likely have permanent health damage due to it and will also likely spread the infection to many other people who will do the same causing a snowball effect. Even when some people seek and receive treatment for their clamydia they get it back from their partner in a vicious cycle.

So we have scared you a bit but now it is time for some real information. How does a person contract clymydia? Well the sickness can be transmitted form one person to another via sexual contact whether it is oral, anal or vaginal. Not only can you give it to your sexual partner but also a mom can pass it to her child during the birth process. Lots of people look at this as a numbers game. The more people you have sexual contact with the more likely you are to get chlymydia, gay or straight. So you can try your best to avoid getting sick but how in the world will you know if you have in fact gotten Chlamydia?

The major symptom of chlamadia is that the majority of the people that have it show no signs or symptoms whatsoever. Actually about half of the men and more than half of the women that have it show signs but the ones that do tend to see them within a month of being exposed to it. If women have clymidea and shows signs they tend to be vaginal discharge, lower abdominal pain, back pain, fever, felling nauseous and pain during sex. Men, we are not immune to getting signs and symptoms either. Guys can have discharge form the penis, burning feeling when urinating and even itching and pain around the opening in the penis. If non-traditional sex is how it was contracted, oral or anal intercourse, there can be pain, bleeding and even discharge from the rectum; and chlymidia can even be in the mouth and throat. Sounds rough huh?

So what if you think that you have chlemydia? You can be diagnosed by a doctor, which we recommend. The physician will run a test for you by using your urine or a swab. This is not to say that lots of people have not diagnosed themselves and sought out and administered treatment successfully. We are not fans of this necessarily since you can misdiagnose yourself and miss something else that may need attention and treatment. If you choose to go this route and truly think you have chylamidia then you are on your own.

The question that is likely in the front of your mind is how in the world to treat chlamedia. Well that is actually an easy answer. The major cure or treatment for Chlamydia is antibiotics. One the market there are lots of antibiotics and basically all of them are prescription, at least the best ones for getting rid of clamedia. You can go to your local doctor and get checked out and tested and diagnosed so that you can have a prescription that will be accepted at the local pharmacy or you can save a ton of cash and do it yourself. Again this is not the best way but if you have very little money to spend on tests and visits to the doctor then it is an option. There are places on the Internet that you can go to get the medications to eliminate your clymidia with no prescription at all.

No matter what option you choose we wish you all the best with your treatment and your future health free from sexually transmitted diseases.
