Exfoliating Skin vs Enzymatic Dissolution of Damaged Tissues

Exfoliating Skin vs Enzymatic Dissolution of Damaged Tissues

The build up of dead skin cells on the outer layer can lead to dull skin and clogged pores. Enzymes are biologically active proteins that dissolve the bonds between dead skin cells, allowing them to slough off and reveal fresher skin underneath.

Unlike mechanical particle scrubs or chemical acid peels, BIOSKINCARE works bio-actively with live enzymes to loosen and dissolve dead skin cells on the surface of the skin. These enzymes 'know' the difference between living tissue and non-active cells, so they can exfoliate them completely without harming live skin.

  • + Breakthrough biotechnology targets only dead skin cells
  • + Eliminates damage to healthy cells
  • + Non-abrasive, acid-free formulation
  • + Safeguards skin's ecology with pH-correct cell renewal
  • + Prevents epidermal damage associated with acids, scrubs or at-home microdermabrasion products.

Dissolution of scar tissues is achieved by disciplined use of BIOSKINCARE for two to three months or it can be accelerated through harsher exfoliation with chemical peels, glycolic acid, dermatological procedures such as dermabrasion or laser resurfacing, or with a home "sanding" or abrasion material that uses micro-crystals embedded in the cream as in BIOSKINEXFOL our home microdermabrasion for stretch marks.

Dermabrasion is the "sanding" or “resurfacing” of the top layers of the skin to help soften rough, old, raised scars left behind from acne breakouts or stretch marks.

All resurfacing treatments work essentially the same way. First, the outer layers of damaged skin are stripped away. Then, as new cells form during the healing process, a smoother, tighter, younger-looking skin surface appears when the resurfacing technique is followed by the application of a skin regenerating trigger and accelerator .

Laser resurfacing is a new method being used by plastic surgeons to remove damaged skin. Because it is new, there are no long-term data on this technique. However, a number of studies using microscopic examination have shown that the physical changes that occur to laser-treated skin are essentially identical to those that occur with either dermabrasion, chemical peels, or the continued use for some time of BIOSKINCARE or BIOSKINEXFOL (at home microdermabrasion cream for older, rougher stretch marks).

Home Sanding Massage Routine

A do it yourself massage routine can help you exfoliate dull, rough and dead skin cells formed when your skin was damaged due to overstretching.
Exfoliation can help remove the dull skin and the dead cells in the scars that show as stretch marks, but only if the skin has been sufficiently loosened by a long and relaxing bath in lukewarm water. Moisturizers also target this layer, working to trap, or, in some cases, capture moisture to keep the keratinocytes (dead skin cells) plump and smooth.

Procedure:At night, two or three times a week (not more), take a relaxing bath and apply a strong massage with a wooden massager and a body scrub (purchased at your local drug-store) to exfoliate dead cells. Apply the body scrub and some moisturizer of your choice (Aloe Vera Gel or any lubricating cream such as those with Cocoa Butter) on the area to be massaged with the wooden massager. After the massage apply BIOSKINCARE immediately on your reddened skin to trigger and accelerate skin cell regeneration.

BIOSKINCARE when used for 2 to 4 months in conjunction with the massage routine acts as if a skilled dermabrasion or chemical peel was performed AND followed by the application of skin regeneration accelerators. And, very important: without the cost and the risks inherent in procedures with the use of surgical instruments or chemical substances that may be too strong and not appropriate for your particular skin.

Now, back to your skin's layers . The prick-cell layer is the middle layer of the epidermis. This layer contains maturing cells (squamous cells) which are heading up toward the horny layer.
The basal layer births the new skin cells that will eventually mature into squamous cells. This layer contains melanocytes, the cells that give pigment to your skin, known as Melanin. Exposure to sunlight cause the melanocytes to produce more melanin in an attempt to protect the dermis below. This is what gives your skin a tanned appearance after sun exposure. Sunless Tanners do not affect the melanocytes, but use an ingredient called dihydroxyacetone (DHA) to stain a reddish-brown color to simulate a tan.

2.- The Dermis

Beneath the epidermis lies the skin's second major layer, the dermis. This layer is responsible for the skin's elasticity, shape, and strength. Elastin in the dermis enables the skin to snap back easily, and Collagen gives skin its strength, in order to keep it from stretching or sagging too much. Both fibers are extremely vulnerable to the sun's ultra-violet rays, which destroy them.

Stretch mark skin care products that contain collagen and elastin cannot restore these protein fibers because their molecules are too large to pass through the skin's horny layer. So using collagen creams after a "sanding" massage to get rid of rough skin on the surface will not help your skin regenerate quickly.

BIOSKINCARE triggers the production of collagen and elastin from inside the skin follicles, filling in stretch mark cavities. It will also shrink and replace the old fibrous collagen.
Soon new 'invisible' hair, known as lanugo, will come through the restored hair follicles in those areas.
Now, you must protect your skin from more damage for these repairs to be successful with a sunblock SPF of 15 or higher.

3.- The Subcutis

The subcutis or fatty layer cushions the internal organs and contains a layer of fat to provide insulation. This is also where most of your hair follicles and sweat glands originate.

The quantity of product is such that a 50 gram jar will last one month if applied to stretch marks on one side of your body on a small size abdominal area (enough to "test" it), or on an area the size of a face when used for scars.

First thing you will notice is a smoothing of your skin, and within a few days or weeks of disciplined application of a little twice a day you will start seeing and feeling results. Then you can decide how much is necessary for it to work for you to get the full results you wish.

Hormonal imbalances (in men as well) cause the hair follicle to tighten allowing hardened sebum to build up closing the pore. This causes hair loss, acne and prevents the healing of scaring of all types, including stretch marks.

With the daily use of a little BIOSKINCARE, dead cells are dissolved, hair follicles are cleaned of debris, germs are destroyed and ultimately the sebaceous gland functions normally again.
