There are a number of mental health problems that affect individuals and in some cases can seriously reduce their quality of life. Depression, for example; has been discovered to affect 1 in 5 people at some point in their lives. A number of other mental problems such as ADHD, phobias, OCD and even some learning problems are argued to be curable through NLP training or NLP courses.
Neuro linguistic programming was created in the 1970’s and involves the three most important factors involving our experiences as humans; Neurology, programming and language. NLP focuses on addressing the things that makes us human, analysing them, and improving them. Through extensive studies regarding positive mind-sets and attitudes within incredible people, practitioners believe that it is actually possible to replicate these attitudes. They believe they can actually model the brain waves and after extensive study- enforce those patterns amongst other people’s brains. This concept has been acknowledged by a wide audience and is actively practised by a number of respected therapists and professionals.
Ways That Extensive NLP Training Can Help With Everyday Lives
Negative thoughts are extremely common, more so in some individuals as opposed to others. NLP allows us to increase the control we have over our brain and emotions, in order to better our quality of life. It teaches individuals to analyse their thought processes and make improvements to them. Eventually, through prolonged NLP training, we reduce the number of inevitable negative thoughts and spend more time actually enjoying life. With more positive thoughts flowing through our brains, we can spend more time actually enjoying life. In turn, we will achieve higher levels of happiness and confidence as a direct result to this.
There are a number of varying opinions on the effectiveness of NLP. Research concluded that NLP has a number of factual errors, but this doesn’t mean a lot to me. There have also been a number of success stories that involve lives being miraculously changed for the better. I am personally open to the idea, I feel that happiness is evidently nothing more than a state of mind, and I feel that we can alter our state of minds if we so choose to.
There are a number of schools and websites around that help people learn the art of neuro linguistic programming. Sites such as performance partnership offer people a resource to learn about the wonders of NLP. The site also offers a range of NLP courses and seminars that can further our knowledge and understanding of the subject.
